The forestry sector has been part of Marc Saulnier’s life since his earliest years. Even as a child, his passion for nature was evident, and one could sense that he would take over the maintenance of the family lands.

Ensuring the sustainability of his lands was completely natural for him. Since then, his commitment and interest in the health of our forests have only grown.

These values are shared throughout the entire team, and all employees carry out each mandate as if they were caring for their own land. Marc and each member of the Elior team are proud to contribute to the protection of our forests and wish to continue their efforts.

In 2022, Elior expanded, adding a transportation division to ensure the transport of its equipment, but also to offer several types of transportation in the Montreal and Quebec regions, as well as outside the province, including Ontario and the Maritime provinces. Also in 2022, Elior acquired excavation equipment, allowing it to diversify its forest activities and to build and maintain forest roads.

In 2024, Elior continued its growth by developing the excavation division, securing its first contract in the heavy residential sector. This was followed by several contracts in the commercial sector.
